Gogwon's research focuses on layered cathode materials, synchroton-based X-ray analysis, cathode regeneration, and lithium-ion battery raw materials. He specializes in achieving a comprehensive understanding of layered cathode materials throughout their entire life cycle-from raw material synthesis to structural design and regeneration-while elucidating hidden mechanisms through advanced synchroton-based characterization techniques. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and traveling.
